Very true, and its also true that people don't value anything that comes for free. Some of them commit to finish the course they started because of the amount of money they have invested for that, but it ultimately benefits them in the long run.

The money that we spend for the courses is nothing, this knowledge cant be weighed in terms of money.

My take on this is that: if it were sold as a separate dish and advertised so, I would never buy it as a consumer, because:
1) the word "fat" would scare me
2) I would be sceptic about a product like that, and do my own research which would tell me enough to stay away from it.

Hence I am sure every seller is smart enough to include it as part of the ingredients implicitly and mask it with a classy tempting name, isn't it? :-)

Its also smiliar to what we call "emulsifiers" on Lays potato chips..they will never disclose that emulsifiers are actually animal fats!! and the label syou see on the ingredients such as E410 or E32..these are codes to indicate the PROBABLE source of the flavors...two sources of these ingredients are animals and plants. Most obviously , often its cheaper to use animal-derived flavors in the labs...

so you see...there is much we dont knwo and havent bothered about in the past..
thankfully things are changing, and consumers are curious about what's on their plates...especially since obesity and heart diseases are on the rise, and also since the risks of GM food are now disclosed!

Dear Arash,

I suggest you do your own thorough research before concluding your point. I did mine.

My friends in Europe have confirmed that Foie Gras has been in McD menu, and as a global citizen, consuming products of an unethical fast food joint ANYWHERE in the world, contributes to their cash cows. Do you want to do that?

Or do you want to write enough about how eating at McDonald's contributes to 3 things:
1) Child labor in Ivory Coast to procure the raw materials in the supply chain

2) Unethical treatment to the animals involved (including the mutated artificially raised, mutant chickens which KFC is infamous for)

3) the ingredients that give the McDonald's burger its false taste...I can make tastier and healthier burgers which do not involve animal products (I am talking about the mayonnaise which contains emulsifiers obtained from eggs!!,,,oh btw, eggs are NON VEGETARIAN...I call them LIQUID MEAT)

bottomline: we both share the same concerns for the planet and its delicate eco system. I encourage you to do some research on what chemicals go into our processed food at supermarkets, and which of these chemicals are banned in the US, but openly marketed in India? Good idea? :-)

why? thats why i insist so often that you come for as many YES!+ workshops as you can...

last YES!+ in Kormangla, Prasanna explained beautifully how the caste system in ancient India was free from discrimination and was created more discipline and harmony instead...

students from all religions studied @ our Gurukul's...and even people from faraway lands came to our ancient universities to gather knowledge...

and the caste system ensured that the trade secrets were kept as secrets according to lineage...and a Shudra or Kshatriya was just as much welcome as a Brahman in society and in educational institutions...

only when the English invaded India, they created communal hatred through discrimination and heart-burn.

put like a true disciple of His Holiness Sri Sri.. i mean if every single indian followed the 6 mantras in the last pparagraph of your post, india would be the best place to live in the world..british etiquette? when all the brits do today is listen to bhangra music and try imitating the gidha dance of punjabis maybe the rest of the country could lern hard work and warmth and etiquette from the punjabis rtaher than the africans and british, precision from the marwari community, team work from the gujaratis etc...the point is indians see gujaratis, punjabis and south indians as totally different people there is no unity in our country maybe you could add disharmony and the caste system to your post as well..

i am sure even without seeing the list, nestle, monsanto and texco are the tops on the list...consider this, monsanto is solely responsible for thousands of farmers in india and bangladesh committing suicide, for the dangerous weeds on chinese soil , chinese soil, for destrying indigenous herbs and botanical spcies in the us and australia, nestle for using slave labour cocoa and deforestation in indonesia for palm oil.. i can go on on ....

Can any one of us see a dirty pig coming out of the drainage and slime all over it with all d garbage eaten by it and think "wow our dinner is ready?"Can u eat that?Well this is not a critical analysis of non-vegetarianism but just a silly,funny & innocent way to grouse out people who eat Non veg like beef pork etc...No Offences...

On a serious note we are not so called "stone age society" people who will butcher and kill others for our meals..so if u love humanity and love earth at least reduce non-veg diet as its more environment friendly too.
